Classes at Yorkshire Ballet Institute are based on the world renowned Royal Academy of Dance system of training.

We use a combination of both syllabus and non-syllabus work to create a rich and well rounded learning experience, alongside specially designed body conditioning exercises to further strengthen and support the training. The opportunity to enter those who wish for RAD examinations is also available.

Classes offered are as follows:

Pre-Primary Ballet - Age 4-5. School equivalent Reception.

Primary Ballet - Age 5-6. School equivalent Yr 1 and above.

Classical Ballet Grades 1-8 - Age 7 +

Pointe Work - Classes available for all levels from beginners to advanced students.

Adult Ballet - All levels welcome.

Floor Barre - A specially designed program to tone, strengthen and stretch the body, based around the core values of Classical Ballet technique. This class would provide an ideal accompaniment to your ballet class or serve as an excellent stand alone exercise program.
